Adam Abodeely, MD is a fellowship trained colon and rectal surgeon specializing in diseases involving the small bowel, colon, rectum, and anus. He is an active member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and is board certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Abodeely provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of all colorectal problems, including cancer and is trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and other minimally invasive procedures. He also performs colonoscopy for screening of colorectal cancer and diagnosis of other intestinal diseases.
Dr. Abodeely obtained his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago and then completed his general surgery training at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital where he earned several teaching awards as well as Outstanding Resident Physician of the Year. He then went on to finish his colorectal surgery fellowship at the Rhode Island Colorectal Clinic, LLP.
